It wasn’t right he thought, as he looked over at the bleachers, recalling how packed they would always be, how the local townsfolk would cheer him and his friends on, even when they were down 8 runs or more, they always cheered. Strange, they were the same people who sat in the court today snickering, leering at a 15 year old boy and his mother simply because she had made a mistake so many years ago. They never did seem to forgive her and he couldn’t understand it, couldn’t figure out why everyone in town hated her so much and yet still adored Mark Kessler as if he was some God? It just didn’t make sense and he finally let the memories fade and headed home, to get ready for work.
